Yokogawa Electric will present new temperature sensor Distributed DTSX 3000 during the exhibition Bulcontrola, which will be held for the 44th time from 5 to 8 April 8, 2016 in IEC, Sofia.
With a resolution of 1 m, this sensor can measure temperature through optical cable with a length of 50 km. That’s eight times more than the previous model DTSX 2000. According to Yokogawa, in terms of measured distance and resolution, the new device is one of the most effective on the market.
DTSX3000, which will be presented at booth C14, Hall 4, is aimed at a wide range of applications in the oil and gas industry, paper pulp industry, metalworking, electricity sector and chemical industry. The sensor is suitable for use in businesses and infrastructures that require temperature monitoring over long distances or on large objects. Possible applications include the detection of a gas leak, fluids in tanks and other large industrial facilities, and the detection of elevated temperatures in power.
Parallel to the exhibition for instrumentation, analytical and laboratory equipment, systems for monitoring and environmental protection, Bulcontrola 2016, at IEC will be held 10th International Exhibition Water Sofia, 6th edition of Machtech & Innotech, the exhibitions Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, and Save the Planet.
