Comet added in its offer radio modules of Microrisc with built radio protocol stack maintains MESH network topology , reported for Engineering Review by the Bulgarian distributor of electronic components.

Modules are with sizes starting from 15x20 mm and are available with built-in operating system , a free development environment and C compiler. They are oriented towards applications of intelligent building management systems, street / industrial lighting , home / industrial automation and applications for data collection.

The new modules of Microrisc support MESH topology with open IQMESH protocol and are able to use 62 radio channels in the 868 MHz range for transmission speed 19,2 kbps. Network supports up to 65,000 UNIQA address and retransmission in 240 MESH topology. Distance radio link between two modules is up to 700 meters with a miniature antenna and output power 3.5 mW.

Other technical features include: energy consumption in receive mode up to 35 uA, presence of digital and analog inputs and outputs , SPI, UART, I2C, PWM, Gateway functionality with interface USB, Ethernet, GSM module and control via touchscreen display.

All units feature ETSI, CE, FCC certification and are manufactured in Europe explained by Comet .
